WHAT DO THE PERCENTAGES OFFERED MEAN?
The lower the number, the darker the tint. The lightest shade we offer is 90%, it looks like plain glass, and does not change the appearance of the glass at all. The darkest shade offered, being 5%, which is “limo tint”, making it hard to see out at night. The IL legal limit is 35%. The legal limit is 35% on the front two, and as dark as you want on the back half. For Example: the factory tint that comes on the back half of vans, trucks, and SUV’s is usually always 20%.
